Why do you have casting calls for shoots? How are images used?

These are photo shoots that allow me to try out new lighting techniques and creative themes.   Many of the images are used in marketing, blogs, or websites.  It's a fun way to try out cool ideas and perfect them before adding them to my product offering. They may also be for personal creative projects because creatives need to create.

How do you select models?

I set up a test shoot for all new models.  This gives us a chance to get to know if a model is a good fit for current or future projects. It also provides a space for you to ask any questions you may have about the project.

Test shoots are done in my downtown studio. I keep them light and quick. They are about 30 mins max.

I respect the time of other creatives and understand that traveling into midtown can be time intensive. Models who respect my time receive images & compensation for travel expense.

Project Selection

Notification of project selection is sent out via email. It will include all details, including compensation rate, if any.

Models have 2 days to accept, before it is offered to an alternate selection.

You can decline any project. It will not hurt future opportunities. If you are unsure that you are able to commit to a project, it’s better to decline.
